Empowerment
To address a migration emergency that shows no signs of abating, states should look beyond building refugee camps and offer economic opportunities to those displaced.

Personal Development

The first step is to accurately identify the talent- and skillsets of the course participants (scholars). This enables the course facilitators to foster a culture of relevant, productive, interpersonal relationships based on the teaching of effective habits and non-violent communication and the offsetting of emotional imbalances.

The scholars undergo a set of training aimed at attaining personalities amongst them that foster continuous personal growth in leaps and bounds and grow a culture that nurtures productive interpersonal relations with people both at work and at home.

Scholars are subsequently matched with life coaches to further personalize and develop this growth path through the set goals and milestones, both personally and vocationally.

Delivered through active learning principles and specifically designed to enrich the student’s personal development and create a mindset that develops and nurtures productive relations both at Yinnoh and the community.

Professional Development

The scholars, through personalized training and one-on-one interaction, are guided through vocational- and enterprise-focused idea generation. Once viable vocational and enterprise ideas have been identified, the scholars enter a personalized, mentored, incubation program. The vocational- and enterprise ideas are put to the test in actual entrepreneurial settings in a bid to bench-test viabilities and nurture the persistence and consistency attitudes that are so necessary for the young entrepreneurs to achieve eventual success.

Improved Secondary- and Vocational Education

The ECIH aims to grow into a space where marginalized youth can access new-generation, relevant secondary- and vocational education resources, ranging from language courses (to facilitate integration into host communities) to relevant vocational apprenticeships.

We recognize the immense impact and benefits that understanding of, and access to technology can bring to marginalized youth and refugees. YINNOH, therefore, aims: to develop a full curriculum of digital skills courses, provide an online platform and physical venue for e-learning, provide networking ability to its scholars and refugees living in the camp to enable them to network amongst one another, and with their community in general in order to gain access to employment, apprenticeships, resources, and opportunities.
